What's a Chewther? Answer Below.
Chewther's are teether's that look like a pacifier. They are a wonderful invention, especially if your baby enjoyed taking a pacifier. Maddy Addy did not, so she was not too thrilled about the Chewther, only because she can't understand the concept of it. However, I STILL would recommend a Chewther. I've spoken with multiple mommies who cannot live without their Chewther and brag about how great they are. They are a definite self soother for babies. Also, it is known to help oral development. Chewther's (which are very fun to say!) are made by Tommee Tippee. http://www.tommeetippee.us/ctn/536002_pink.html

Teether's,teether's, everywhere!
Right now, no matter where I go in my house, there is some sort of "teething device". It's insane. How many teether's does one baby need? Who knows.. I'll tell you why mommies end up with so many of them because, they come in all different shapes, styles, colors. One promises relief, one promises comfort, etc... It is downright confusing. And that is how I ended up with 30 plus teethers laying around. Now keep in mind, one babies needs can be the opposite of another when it comes to teether. Some might like something soft to gnaw on, while another may need a harder object. And if in the end you can't find anything baby likes; you can always "old school it" & use a cold wet cloth.
Maddy loves Nuby.
Nuby's Softy Silicone Teether to be exact. She received this as a gift and was a instant fan. At the time, I was not able to find one that best fit her, so I was thrilled when she took a liking to this one. It's very light in weight and easy for even a young baby to hold. It's a soft teether and the one I have is a ring with little nubs around it-perfect size for baby to suck/chew on. Another thing about this product that I love is, it came with this amazing little carry case to keep it clean. This has become one of my best friends because it helps ease my munchkin's pain!

Bright stars; "Starry Teether".
The Starry Teether is a easy to use, beaded teether. It is slightly heavier than the Nuby ring, mentioned above. This teether is for a muchkin that is looking to chew on something hard. The beads frequently move around, leaving the baby to chew on the ring itself which is a hard plastic. The beads on the ring are a softer plastic but, still harder than other teething items. It mainly caught my eye in the store because of the price, you can find it for under three bucks and the colors are fun. (It also comes in pink) Maddy uses this teether, more as a rattle than what it is intended for. I give it 3 stars overall. Take a peak at their website:
